MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

Being a member of the COA is a privilege that comes with numerous benefits that are uniquely tailored to your new role as a Commissioned Officer.  First, and most importantly, the COA provides legal services to all members as part of their dues through The Law Offices of Timothy Burke.  Your dues also include a total of automatic $20,000 life insurance for all members under age 65, through out relationship with Boston Mutual Life Insurance and the Massachusetts Police Association.  All members of the COA are automatically enrolled as members of with the Massachusetts Police Association (MPA), the largest police association in Massachusetts, with nearly 19,000 members.  Membership in the MPA affords you all the rights and privileges associated with the organization.  

 

MEMBERSHIP DUES

Membership Dues are very reasonable, currently $37.00 twice per month, which is automatically deducted from your payroll.  There is a one-time initiation fee of $25 for new members. 

To join, complete and submit the Payroll Deduction Authorization Form (Link).  The initial payment of $62, which covers first dues and a $25 initiation fee, can be submitted by check or paid online below.

To make a one-time payment of $62 (first month’s dues and Initiation Fee) click on the "Pay Now" link below.  Your membership will not become active until your Payroll Deduction form is received by the MSP COA.
