During National Police Week, members of the MASPCOA Board traveled to Washington, D.C. to honor the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers from across the nation. This annual recognition, led by the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, highlights the courage and commitment of American law enforcement. Their mission — to honor the fallen, tell the story of American law enforcement, and make it safer for those who serve — continues to guide meaningful remembrance and advocacy nationwide. MASPCOA proudly stands in solidarity with all those who serve and the families of the fallen.

2023 Charity Golf Tournament
Dear Sponsors,
On behalf of the Massachusetts State Police Commissioned Officers Association, I would like to extend our sincere gratitude for your generous sponsorship of our 2023 charity golf tournament. Your support was instrumental in making this year's event a huge success.
The weather was perfect, the golfers had a great time, and we were able to donate $12,500 to Cops for Kids with Cancer and dedicate $10,000 in educational scholarships to the children of COA members attending college. We could not have done it without your contributions!
We look forward to your continued support next year as we strive to make an even greater impact on the lives of children with cancer and their families.
Thank you again for your generosity!
Sincerely
William “Duke” Donoghue
President, MSP COA

2023 Police Week
Dear COA members,
In May, the Executive Board traveled to Washington, DC for National Police Week 2023. While in DC, the board attended the candlelight vigil commemorating the addition of fallen Massachusetts State Trooper Tamar Bucci's name to the National Law Enforcement Memorial Wall. Trooper Bucci’s name was read aloud during the vigil to commemorate this sacrifice. On behalf of the membership, the Executive Board extends its heartfelt sympathy to the family of Trooper Bucci. The Board is proud to honor the memory of our fallen heroes and to stand in solidarity with all law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line every day to protect our communities.
As we remember Trooper Bucci, let us also remember the profound words of President Ronald Reagan, who said, "The men and women of law enforcement are the guardians of our freedom. They are the ones who keep us safe from those who would do us harm. They are the ones who put their lives on the line every day to protect us. We owe them a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid."
We must never forget the sacrifices made by our fallen brothers and sisters, and we must always strive to live up to the public's trust.
Fraternally,
William “Duke” Donoghue
President, MSP COA
